Arizona Utility Incentives for Customers
APS – Arizona Public Service IncentivesArizona Public Service Incentives - Residential customers who install a photovoltaic solar grid tied system can apply for a one-time rebate of $3 per installed DC watt and commercial customers can apply for a one-time rebate of $2.50 per installed DC watt for up to a maximum one-time payment of $500,000 to any single customer per year. Commercial customers have the option to receive an incentive based on system output rather than a rebate based on DC watt capacity. If applying for an incentive for a system expansion, incentive payment is capped at 50% of the total cost for expansion. Selling Excess Electricity - Customers have the option of selling excess electricity generated by their system back to APS. Customers electing to sell back excess power can do so under the EPR5 rate or the EPR2 rate, whichever is appropriate for their system.
